LISBON
Rave Revolution’s first action took place on a Wednesday afternoon on the 29th of June 2022, outside the United Nations Oceans Conference in Lisbon. DJ's Dixon and Unders headlined alongside all the biggest local names. The President of Palau gave a moving speech about the injustices of neo-colonization, exclaiming ‘you might as well bomb us’, in regards to the extractivism happening in international waters today.
RADICAL HONESTY
2022
Rave Revolution was at Burning Man in the Nevada desert from August 28 to September 3, 2022, installing a climate related art piece on the Playa called Radical Honesty, talking with climate activists and artists about Rave Revolution, and conducted Heading for Extinction workshops. Feedback was excellent. Plans are being implemented for an expanded presence at Burning Man for 2023.
